Memories of Spring Fling

Spring Fling 2008 – the momentum grows!
On Sunday, May 20, 2007, the tradition will continue as it has for almost 15 years – over 300 women (and a few men as well) will gather at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center for one of the largest and most well-known annual fundraisers in the Atlanta LGBT community – Spring Fling 2007. Fourth Tuesday is once again the sponsoring organization. Profits will be donated to the Fourth Tuesday’s ZAMI Scholarship Fund and to the Atlanta Lesbian Health Initiative’s efforts on behalf of women’s health.
Spring Fling 2007 begins at 5PM and the celebration will continue until 10PM. The lovely Callanwolde estate is ours for the afternoon and evening and you are invited to enjoy the gardens and beautiful grounds as well as the fabulous mansion. Inside the Callanwolde mansion, you will find a non-stop dance room, an acoustic music room, and action-packed casino games. A fashion show and other surprises await attendees and will ensure a night to be remembered. All will enjoy a bountiful buffet, premium cash bar and a special dessert coffee station.
Spring Fling will feature varied styles of music to satisfy many tastes and to ensure dancing will reign supreme in the gorgeous Callanwolde ‘Courtyard’, which is indoor and climate controlled.
Old friends meet year after year at Spring Fling and romance blooms at this popular event. We all know couples who met and launched relationships at previous Spring Flings. It will surely happen again this year!
Attendees include women of all ages from coeds to crones, from all across the metro region and beyond. It is the perfect opportunity for women who may be new to Atlanta to meet new friends in a fun, festive, and supportive environment.
